Outrageous Evidence
Updated: Mar 9

If not the light of day
and the dark of night,
If not the gathered waters
and the dry of land,
If not the heavens above
and stars so bright,
If not the highest mountain
and waves on dry sand,
If not plants that bare seed
and animals with breath,
If not a man and a woman
who were to see no death,
Consider the butterfly
surely one of God’s least,
Proof of His design by hand,
hardly a creative feast,
But beauty beyond belief,
fluttering free as a fan,
Unfettered of all former function,
redeemed according to plan.
Psalm 8:5, 19:1
Genesis 1:1-31
