Live in Your Way
I’m lost, Dear God.
Where do I go?
Where you see Me,
Waiting for you…
Not just sitting in the heights of the heavens,
Or attending with the hosts of angels and cherubim,
Or dancing far above the moon and the stars,
Or shining behind the sun that lights the day,
Or hovering across the vast waters and lands,
Or lifting the mountains and all the hills,
Or walking amongst all the creatures of the earth.
Look for me, and join me as I…
Sit with a crying child bullied at school,
Wait on the roadside with a car stranded there,
Stand with a man begging on the street corner,
Hold an old woman injured from a fall,
Comfort a teen dying of cancer in the hospital,
Tend a lost soul at church who wants to know more,
Listen to a father saying grace at dinner,
Cheer for a fresh graduate from high school,
Bless trembling hands newly joined in marriage,
And so much more.
Open my eyes, Dear Lord
Show me where You are
Every step of my day
That I may join You there
And fully live in Your Way.
