Branch of Forgiveness

All flesh

Be silent! Be still!

For we have stirred

The Lord God

in Heaven.

We stand below Him here

on ground most shaky

in the filthiest of clothes,

But He holds out to us

a Branch of Forgiveness,

A wondrous sign.

When we take it

Our clothes will be replaced

With the richest of robes

laid upon our shoulders.

Upon this stone stand!
